Knitting???!!!

Well last week Dennis bought me "Knitting for Dummies". I have been trying since then to teach myself how to knit, and today I finally got it!!!! My stitches are perfect and aren't to tight or to loose. I bought a set of circular needles today and on my first try nailed it! And within the last half hour I learned how to do a cable stitch without using a cable needle. !!!YAY ME!!!
Now I just have to learn how to use the double pointed needles and then after I have made a gazillion swatches I can actually make something using a pattern....
I am so proud of myself.....my hands and fingers hurt like crazy but I don't care I am so happy!
